Archetypes. David K. Ross
Canadian artist David K. Ross presents his photographic series Archetypes, in which he staged architectural mock-ups designs by leading international firms in dramatic lighting, thus isolating the structures from their surroundings. Reaching beyond a mere artistic record of building technologies and typologies, the work offers a platform for discussion about what it means to pre-construct fragments of buildings in all their complexity. Don’t miss the exhibition of David K. Ross at the Swiss Architecture Museum S AM in Basel, opening this week and on display until the end of October.
