Three Park Books titles have been awarded among the ten winners of the 2023 DAM Architectural Book Award, given each year by the German Architecture Museum (DAM) in cooperation with the Frankfurt Book Fair. Congratulations to everyone involved in the making of these outstanding books – we couldn’t be happier!
The following books have been awarded:
Innenputz, edited by Annette Spiro, Elizaveta Radi, and Florian Schrott presents the surprising potential of interior plaster as a material and takes a critical look at the conventions of contemporary building. Book design by Zurich-based graphic designer Esther Rieser.
Atlas des Dazwischenwohnens by Angelika Juppien and Richard Zemp, and edited by the University of Lucerne’s School of Architecture, Competence Center for Typology and Planning, takes a look at the life that takes place just outside of our front door, around the house and across the street. Book design by Elke Schultz.
Armando Ruinelli Architetti, edited by Axel Simon, is the defintive monograph on the work of celebrated architect Armando Ruinelli, presenting his realized projects from the years 1982 to 2022. Book design by Zurich-based office Herendi Artemisio.
Another 2023 DAM Architectural Book Award went to Urban Change Over Time, published by our affiliate Scheidegger & Spiess.
